Studio practice one

Paintings on the wall....

Studio practice one started off well for me. I started to question what drawing is and what it could be.  As I started gaining more knowledge for the understanding of the language of drawing, I began looking into the concept of  ‘random’ and ‘considered’ with in my drawing. After a while I started thinking painting could be a way of drawing too, I then began collaboration with one of my classmates. This lead me to start thinking and wanting to include The Prelude book with in my work and how much of it did I want to affect my understanding of ‘random’ and ‘considered’ way of working. This then became difficult and I built up a disliking for the book, wanting to destroy and deface it with my new techniques of painting that I had discovered.

Me.... (I like to draw my face while i'm touching it with my eyes wide closed)

3D
Wrapped Objects...

  1. Cover or enclose (someone or something) in paper or soft material.
2. Clasp; embrace: "she wrapped him in her arms".

This project was my fist 3d/ceramics/installation brief i had be given, only to use paper and cardboard after a long process i ended up with these 'Wrapped Objects' of mine expressing my frustration with the 3d idea.

My inspiration for these photographs came from Martin Creed

Student living, inside my studio.

My aim for this blog is to transfer my ideas and works from my head and my hands, through my fingertips and keyboard to people.

This is me.

Wish me luck...
